The role of Blockchain and cryptocurrency in professional business services was the main topic of our Senior Partner Artur Kuczmowski speech on the 7th International Business Forum in Berlin. It was prestigious conference organized by Adam Global which consists of lawyers, accountants and specialists.

Every year Adam Global – the world’s leading platform for multidisciplinary professional business services organize meeting for the members. In 2019 its annual meeting took place in Berlin in Regent Hotel. For two days experts had a chance to share their experienced to each other during workshop, speeches and networking sessions.

The aim of the Forum was to take a look at the key factors affecting and changing our way of life – especially at work. The main question was: how will technology impact the law firm of the future? Who will win in this space – lawyer or technology? In response to this question the presentation of Tobias Heining was useful. He talked about the digital business model for law firms in relation to different continents.

Artur Kuczmowski, our Senior Partner, in his presentation strongly focused on his specialization which is Blockchain. He explains how Blockchain can affect the future of legal companies in the era of digitalization. Mr Kuczmowski also tried to convenience the audience that cryptocurrency should not be seen only as a scam, money laundering or fraud. He explained how utility, security and equity tokens works and described their characteristics.
