LITHUANIAN E-RESIDENCY
The e-residency programme in Lithuania, which was being announced for a long time, is becoming increasingly real. It is likely that by the turn of 2021/2022, Lithuanian citizens and foreigners will be able to use the Lithuanian e-residency. So far, Estonia, which introduced its e-residency programme successfully in 2014, remains the leader in implementing e-government solutions. This demonstrated how much the introduction of e-residency can facilitate administrative and public affairs. Now Lithuania is following Estonia’s lead and plans to introduce its Lithuanian e-residency programme soon.
